VEHICLES AND PARKING – Ordinance G11-05

AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO VEHICLES AND PARKING.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EASTBOROUGH, KANSAS:

Section 1:

No person shall park, store or leave any vehicle which is inoperative upon any property, public or private, within the City of Eastborough, Kansas, for a period in excess of ten (10) days. This section shall not apply to any vehicle enclosed within a building on private property. “Inoperative” means a condition of being abandoned or unable to perform the function or purpose for which it was originally constructed.

Section 2:

No person shall park, store or leave any boat, boat trailer, jet ski, camper, trailer or motor home recreational vehicle permanently, continually, or regularly in and on any street or public property or in the open on any lot or driveway. This section shall not apply to persons whose medical conditions necessitate the use of a motor vehicle designed for that purpose.

No person shall park, store or leave any vehicle on the grounds of any lot other than a designated driveway, garage or other enclosed buil

Section 4:

Any person convicted of a violation of this ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not more than $500.

Section 5:

Ordinance No. 1056 is repealed.

Section 6:

This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and publication one time in the official city newspaper.
